"I would like that," Cas replied.
Sam and Dean had wandered down to the mess hall for dinner. After they got their food, they sat down across from each other at a table. Sam yawned. If they were in Lima still, he would be going to bed right about now and today had been pretty exhausted. However, he wasn't particularly looking forward to going to bed; he hadn't been sleeping well after that last Kaiju they intercepted. He sighed and worked his fingers over his brow. He glanced up at Dean, who was giving him that stupid mothering look. "What?" he said. Dean's frown deepened. "Stop looking at me like that. I'm fine."

They sorted out a meeting with Cas, and then Devin and Armand went to go explore their room. Misha had his own separate room, though it did connect with theirs, and he only woke up long enough to wrap himself up in his blankets like a burrito when Armand tucked him into bed. "Can we lock this door from our side?" Armand asked, checking it. "I don't want him to wander in while we're with Cas." "Oh shit," Devin said. "That would suck."

"You look like you haven't slept in a week," Dean said. "I'm just jet lagged." Sam hoped Dean wouldn't realize that Lima was only two hours ahead of Los Angeles. Dean sighed and shook his head. "Whatever, Sammy."

"Crisis averted," Armand announced. "It does." "Thank god." Devin flopped down on their bed. It was about noon, which mean that in Vladivostok, it was about six in the morning. "I am so fucking tired. And hungry." "So do you want to eat or sleep?" Armand asked, sitting down next to him. "Yes." "You're impossible." "Hey, I got you another pretty boy to play with later I am allowed." "Sure you are." Armand bent down and kissed Devin's nose. "I'm getting food. Are you coming or sleeping?" "Sleeping," Devin decided.

Sam glowered down at his plate. Across from him, Dean had begun shoveling food into his mouth, but Sam only pushed his around his plate. Anger rolled around in his gut, making his whole body tense. He didn't even know why he was so furious. He wasn't mad at Dean; his older brother was only looking out for him, like he'd always done. Maybe Dean was right. Maybe he should try to get some sleep, it might make him feel better. Or maybe he should go to the gym instead, burn off some of the rage he was feeling. And he couldn't have nightmares if he was still awake. Sam picked up his plate and stood up. "Where are you going?" Dean asked. Sam shrugged. "I'm not really hungry. I think I'll just go to bed." Sam ignored the suspicious look Dean gave him and tossed his dinner before heading out the door.
Cas settled back down at his desk, fresh cup of coffee in hand. He pulled up the rangers' files again and started skimming through them again. He wanted to know about anything that could interfere with a neural bridge. There was no way he was letting anyone have trouble while drifting.

Entering the cafeteria, Armand saw one of the other new pilots sitting by himself. "Hey," he said. "Mind if I join you?"
"What d'you think about the new guys?" Cris asked, joining Cas in mission control with his own fresh coffee.

Dean was still staring after Sam when the other man approached him. "Uh," he said, and looked up at Armand. "Sure." He blinked a few times. Armand was ridiculously good looking. Wait, no he wasn't. Dudes weren't attractive. No. Dean glanced down.
"I am very curious to see how they perform," Cas replied.

"Thanks," Armand said, sitting across from Dean. "So you guys were in Peru, right?"
"Mhm," Cris agreed. "I'm not too worried about Dev and Mand. They're idiots, but they'll listen to me and the Marshal at least. I don't know about the other guys yet."
(Cas is that an innuendo? XD)

(Omg I didn't even think of that. XD)
"Yeah," Dean said. "I don't think I'll miss it. It's nice to be back in the States."
Cas nodded. "I suppose we'll see."

Armand grinned. "Yeah, that's how I feel. Russia was too cold for my tastes."
"We'll have to," Cris said. He took a sip of coffee and added, "Oh, and I saw Devin talking to you earlier. If he bothers you let me know. I'll make him leave you alone."
