Connor sighed. "Unfortunately he's not always an idiot," he said. He shifted though the drawers under the bar until he found paper and a pencil stub. "Do you know all their names and about what he was payin' 'em?" (whoops guys I realized that when you factor in his gun aversion I have pretty much made Batman. Granted, he's a 1920's irish-chinese bootlegging batman. But still. How did this happen?) (OH MY GOD. YES.) Par: It does that a lot in Boston. XD

Aiden jogged the remaining distance to the bar through the downpour. Once inside, he shrugged off his soaked coat behind the bar. "How's the bullet hole, Connor?" he asked, nodding a greeting to Brandi and Anya as well. He crossed the room and stood in shirtsleeves in front of the fireplace to get dry.

"I think it's given up trying to kill me," Connor said. "How're you?"

"Wet," Aiden answered. He shook his head, scattering raindrops from his black hair. He remembered the gun he'd taken from Parrino's man, and added, "Hey, I have something for you."

"A present? It's not even my birthday," Connor said.

Aiden grinned. "Well, I ran into Parrino again last night when I was on a run for O'Reilly." He pulled the revolver out of his coat's inside pocket and held it out to Connor. "It's not the gun that shot you, but it's something like that."

"Yeah," Anya nodded, thinking. "Let's see...there's Ted Griffel...he gets his hooch from other suppliers in New York. Manny Rodriguez travels back and forth to Mexico and stops at every major city from Dallas to Boston." She screwed up her eyebrows in concentration. "Hank--he never gives a last name--brings in liquor from Chicago, as does Dodger Johnson. Then there's a couple of Canadians: Jaques Molier and Pierre Lafonte, both French, and Charlie Atwater." She nodded again. "Oh, I almost forgot, Dmitri Pavlenko...a fellow Russian. He pays them all the same."
(What is a good price in terms of 1920's liquor? I wasn't sure so I didn't put a price in)

(I'm not sure, I could only find prices for individual drinks, which were 50 cents, so maybe around $100 for a whole keg/barrel or whatever?)
"Oh, how nice," Connor said. He took it and checked that it was unloaded, just to be sure. "I'll take good care of this, don't you worry." Then he started writing down Anya's list. "I've heard of some of these guys. We used to do business with Johnson a while back, actually."

"Johnson," Brandi repeated, taking a seat at the bar stool next to Anya. "That does sound familiar."

"Yeah, we worked with him up til a year ago or so," Connor said. He grinned sheepishly. "I suppose it's rather my fault we're not still workin' with him. "

Brandi raised an eyebrow. She didn't remember how exactly they had lost Dodger as a supplier, and it had never occurred to her that Connor might have played a part in it. "What did you do?"

"I wound up in the back seat of a car with his sister. How was I s'possed to know he'd take offense t' that?"

Brandi's lips twitched into a smile. She ran a hand through her hair. "Great. So we can cross him off the list of potential suppliers?"

"Well he did knock my tooth out, so maybe we're even?" Connor suggested.

Brandi looked up at Connor, still smiling. "His sister for your tooth? Sounds like a fair trade."
